- Goes to a good solid ground. ENSURE that you have scraped your paint and primer away, leaving a good ground source. We recommend using a good star washer to ensure a good connection.

SPK1 & SPK1 Connect to ONE SPEAKER ONLY. The polarity does not
matter. Be sure NOT TO connect SPK1 and SPK2 together or you will
damage the unit.

Cycle is for a NEGATIVE PULSE ONLY. This will cycle the tone while the unit is in manual mode. When this terminal see’s a ground pulse, it will change to the next tone. 12V to this terminal will damage the unit.

Light 1, Light 2, Light3 and Light 4 are for the light bar selector switch. This should be self explanatory. 12V Operation only and 15 amp max.

AUX1, AUX 2, AUX3 and AUX4 are for the AUX push buttons on the front of the unit and are 12V buttons. 15 Amp max.

The Input on the far right is where you connect the cable for the head unit.

USB Drive will Amplify any MP3 sound file only and is controlled by the volume/on/off knob of the unit. The USB is not as clear and loud as the normal generated siren tones. You get out of it what you put into it!
Light Bar Controller switch and 4 Aux Buttons are rated at 15A Max. Mostly designed for LED or 12V Controls. DO NOT use for rotators or high amperage accessories.
DO NOT HOOK THE SPEAKERS UP USING A COMMON WIRE, IN PARALLEL OR SERIES. HOOKING YOUR SPEAKERS UP
INCORRECTLY WILL DAMAGE THE SIREN AND IT IS NOT
COVERED UNDER WARRANTY IF THE INSTALLATION
RESULTS IN DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRONIC SIREN.
If you are replacing your siren with one of ours, IT IS IMPERATIVE that you check your existing speaker wiring to ensure it’s wired correctly. Failure to do so could damage your siren beyond repair. Contact us for any questions.

If your Powercall RDX7 has a problem, you have damaged the siren or it needs
service, please do the following:
1) Write or type out an explain of what the problem is, what type of siren you have and what may or may not be working. You can also visit our website under the repairs/warranty tab and get these complete instructions for returning units.
2) Package your unit up GOOD so it does not get damaged in shipment. Powercall Sirens IS NOT responsible for damage done to your unit due to incorrect packaging. We will require your full name, company name, shipping address, phone number and an email address, as well as a detailed description of what the problem is with your unit. This information MUST be included In your shipment.
3) Once we receive your siren, we will contact you with what we find and any
possible costs involved in fixing it.
Our latest sirens built in 2020 and 2021 are all microprocessor controlled and serviced. What this means, is no matter what happens in the unit, once we hook it up to our computer, it will tell us what happened. If you happen to wire your unit wrong or there is an internal malfunction, we will know exactly what happened and how to service or repair it, if possible.
